The DT01ABAxxx Desktop hard disk drive series provides up to 3 TB capacity and features an innovative technology to deliver a greater level of power efficiency and quiet operation for energy-conscious, environmentally-friendly computers. With low power, high capacity and cool operation, these 3.5-inch (8.9 cm) drives allows manufacturers to leverage the benefits of the latest components and operating systems to deliver more eco-friendly systems. This 1TB/platter hard disk drive series offers up to 5,900 RPM and an interface transfer rate of 6 Gb/s. In addition, it uses the Advanced Format Technology, which is based on 4K byte-per-sector formatting and improved error-correcting code functions to provide maximum error detection and more efficient use of the storage surface area.
