Toshiba Storage Device Division vahvistaa sisäisten kiintolevyjen valikoimaansa tuomalla markkinoille uuden 1,8 tuuman kiintolevyaseman. Malli MK1229GSG tarjoaa suorituskykyä ja nopeutta kannettavan tietokoneen päivitykseen akun keston tai äänitason kärsimättä. Kaksikiekkoinen 120 gigatavun SATA-asema pyörii 5 400 kierrosta minuutissa ja sen tiedonsiirtonopeus on jopa 150 Mbps. Sen etuna on myös erinomainen iskunkestävyys, toiminnassa 500 G ja ei toiminnassa 1 500 G.
Toshiban uusi, vain 62 grammaa painava asema on täydellinen kiintolevyasema niille, jotka tavoittelevat tehokkaampaa, kompaktia tietokonetta.
